Our Founder

Ed Annibale began his martial arts career in 1971 and has been actively training in various arts since that time. He is the founder of Shen Do Aikijitsu. He first received his Sokeship from Shidoshi Ed Gross and the North American Black Belt Federation in 1994. He is certified and recognized as a 9th Degree Black Belt through O’Sensei Phil Porter and the United States Martial Arts Association; Grandmaster Carlos Diaz and the International Association of Karate-Kobudo.  Grandmaster Annibale is also a 6th Dan in Hapkido through the United States Martial Arts Association.

Grandmaster Annibale is a member of the Board of Directors and a Lifetime member of the United States Martial Arts Association, and is a Certified Master Instructor and Master Examiner in Shen Do Aikijitsu and Hapkido through the USMA.

Grandmaster Annibale was inducted into the  World Martial Arts League 1998 Hall of Fame as a Founder of the Year. He has trained and continues to train military, law enforcement, corrections and security personnel in tactics and strategies that are practical and proven effective for real life situations.

He currently resides in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
